Moyston Primary School

As soon as you set foot in Moyston Primary School there’s a sense of community which makes you feel like you belong there.   Principal Anthony Cain and his staff have fostered a wonderful partnership between the school and the community.  Its like a big family.  Parents are encouraged to participate in all areas of the school program and are often in the classroom assisting with reading, maths, cooking or any other area of interest. The school hosts a community dinner each month at the local football clubrooms.  The meals are catered for by parents and all members of the local and school community are welcome to attend.  There is also a significant sporting culture within the school.  Moyston Primary School has been the School BMX champions for the past three years and all students are involved in the BMX team travelling as far as Geelong, Bendigo and Warrnambool to compete against other schools.  This year, the school has installed a beach volleyball area for the students and is currently building tennis courts.
