Recording the stories of our Inspirational Youth
The Pride of Geelong initiative aims to showcase some of the remarkable young people of the Geelong region. It will see the development of an annual hardcover commemorative photo book highlighting socially active and inspirational young people - the future pillars of the Geelong community. The project is now calling for candidates and anyone with a story to tell is encouraged to apply with the final book set to be printed in late 2015. Candidates will pay a $50.00 inclusion fee for a stylised studio portrait session based on their area of achievement or expertise. This inclusion fee will be donated directly to local charity Give Where You Live.
We are now calling for candidates for the 2015 book. If you are school aged and live in the Geelong region we'd love to hear your story.
Pride of Geelong was brought about by our increasing concern that, in this digital age, the stories of our youth will be lost because we don't print our photographs for our children and grandchildren to enjoy.
